Brief — a vegetarian cafe with two distinct moods

Makobrew is a vegetarian restaurant & cafe brand opening twin outlets in Hyderabad. The brief was to give each outlet a distinct architectural mood while keeping the brand DNA — clean lines, warm wood ceilings, expansive glass — instantly recognisable across both.

Himayat Nagar was designed as the flagship — full luxury glass elevation on the street face, a roof-level retractable pergola for the al-fresco section, and a sweeping fluted-wood ceiling that ties the entire floorplate together.

Jubilee Hills was designed as the boutique sister outlet — a more intimate footprint with fabric ceiling, premium glass partitions defining zones, and a custom passage-light installation along the entry corridor.

What WoodenMax handled end-to-end

The 10–12 live projects model — and why it matters

At any given time WoodenMax is running 10–12 live projects across India in parallel. We deliberately cap volumes at this band — it is the maximum a family-led + trained-partner-crew model can ship without quality drift. Makobrew was one of 11 live projects during its build window; concurrent projects included two villas in Hyderabad, a builder development in Pune, and the Mumbai commercial tower (see other case studies).

For the client, this model meant: (1) a single WhatsApp group with the WoodenMax brother running the project, (2) decisions taken on call without a "talk to my manager" handoff, and (3) the same team that quoted is the team that delivered.

Frequently asked questions

Do you take on full restaurant / cafe fit-outs or only the aluminium & glass scope?

Both. We typically lead the entire architectural fit-out (glazing, partitions, elevation, ceiling, decorative lighting) as a single contract; we do not take on MEP, kitchen equipment, civil / brick-and-mortar, or upholstery — those are coordinated with the client's vendors but stay outside our scope.

Can you handle two outlets in parallel like Makobrew?

Yes — and frequently. At any given time we are running 10–12 live projects across India. Two outlets for the same client is a comfortable ask; we assign a single site-supervisor to coordinate across both and dedicate parallel partner crews.

How does pricing work for a project like this?

Per-system rates are published on our calculators — aluminium windows, glass partitions, glass elevation, pergola, louvers etc. each have a live ₹/sq.ft calculator. We share an itemised quote within 5 working days of a site visit. GST 18% extra. Transport is free for orders > ₹15 L within 1,000 km from Hyderabad, billed at actuals beyond — see our policy.

Where are the custom chandeliers and wall-lights made?

At our Hyderabad factory. We have an in-house metalwork bay (brass, MS, SS) and a glass-shop for diffusers. Custom decorative lighting is a regular part of our hospitality & villa projects.

Do you offer post-handover service for restaurants?

Yes. F&B spaces see heavy daily use — we offer a 12-month AMC covering the retractable pergola, glass-door hardware, and any sealant-line touch-up at quarterly intervals. The AMC is opt-in and starts at the snag-closure milestone.
