1. GST policy
GST @ 18% is always extra
All prices on woodenmax.in, in our budgetary estimate PDFs and in WhatsApp / email quotes are basic (pre-tax) values. Goods & Services Tax at the current statutory rate of 18% for "Aluminium structures and parts of structures" (HSN 7610) is added at the time of final invoicing. Where the delivery state is the same as the supply state (intra-state), GST is split as 9% CGST + 9% SGST. For inter-state deliveries it is charged as 18% IGST.
2. Transportation policy
FREE transportation — when both conditions are met
We absorb the road-freight cost when both of the following are true:
- Basic order value (pre-GST) is ≥ ₹15 Lakh, AND
- Delivery site is within 1,000 km by road from our Hyderabad branch.
Paid transportation — at actuals
If your order does not meet both thresholds above, road freight is added to the final invoice at actuals — i.e. we pass on the exact transporter charge with no markup, supported by the transporter's tax invoice. The freight quote is shared in writing for your approval before dispatch from the factory.

5. Frequently asked questions
Is GST included in the WoodenMax quote?
No. All quotes show the basic (pre-tax) price. GST at 18% is always charged extra on the basic value, exactly as required under Indian GST law. The same rule applies to the budgetary PDF generated from our website calculators.
When does transportation become free for my order?
Road transport is FREE only when both: (a) the basic order value is ≥ ₹15 Lakh pre-GST, AND (b) the delivery site is within 1,000 km by road from our Hyderabad branch.
What if my order is ₹15L+ but the site is more than 1,000 km away?
We charge freight at actuals beyond 1,000 km. You'll receive the transporter's quotation in writing for approval before dispatch, with no margin added by us.
What if my site is in Hyderabad but order is < ₹15L?
Even though the site is local, transport is still billed at actuals when the order is below the ₹15 Lakh threshold. Local freight in Hyderabad city is typically ₹1,500 – ₹6,000 depending on volume.
Does the free-transport rule also cover unloading and installation?
Installation, hardware, EPDM gaskets and silicone are already part of the quoted basic price (unless explicitly noted). Unloading at the site is included with the transport. Civil work, scaffolding and electrical points are not included.
How is the 1,000 km distance measured?
By Google Maps' fastest road route from the WoodenMax Hyderabad branch (5-6-411/413, Aaghapura, Nampally, Hyderabad 500001) to the official PIN code of your installation site.
Will GST and transport be shown separately on my invoice?
Yes. The final tax invoice always lists basic value, applicable GST (CGST + SGST or IGST), and transportation as separate line items — there are no hidden charges anywhere in our pricing.
