Motorised retractable pergola — scope of supply
This product line covers motor-operated roof systems on an aluminium or steel primary frame: linear sliding glass, stacking / folding panels, or retractable fabric (brand-dependent). The online estimate isolates what is standard across our pergola range — structural frame ₹/sqft and roof glazing or polycarbonate ₹/sqft — so you can compare directly with a fixed glass-roof pergola. Automation (motor, controller, travel rails, weather seals, safety edge) is itemised in the formal BOQ once span, speed, and IP rating are fixed.
Structural difference vs fixed roof: members are sized for track pull-out, point loads at carriers, and repeated cycling; eaves and ridge profiles are deeper. Coastal and tall buildings may require upgraded fasteners and finishes — noted at survey.
Interfaces: drainage, overflow, and slab waterproofing are coordinated with the motor supplier’s limits. Visually, the system is often specified alongside glass façade, balustrades, sun louvers, and terrace doors; ACP / HPL soffits complete the outdoor room.
Optional wind / rain sensors and BMS tie-in quoted with electrical scope — they do not alter published glass or metal rates.
