Glass-roof aluminium pergola — system description
This range is a factory-profiled aluminium space frame (primary members in 6063-T5 / T6) designed for terrace, pool deck, and garden overlays. Connections are mechanical — cleats, brackets, and stainless fasteners — so level and alignment can be corrected at installation. The roof plane is a separate specification: monolithic toughened (10 mm or 12 mm) for maximum clarity, laminated safety glass (PVB / SGP interlayer) where the panel is overhead to circulation, or solid / multiwall polycarbonate where budget or weight governs. Each option maps to the ₹/sqft lines in the tool above; structure is always priced on plan area of the pergola footprint.
Surface treatment: architectural powder coating to exterior grade — RAL solids, metallic, and wood-effect films on aluminium. Coating selection drives both aesthetics and coastal durability; we match adjacent louver and window colours where those packages are from WoodenMax.
Alternative structure: for long-span parking or entry canopies, the same roof glass and polycarbonate rates can be carried on a system iron or welded steel frame — switch structure type in the calculator; coating rules for welded steel follow the tool (site paint may apply).
Envelope integration: specify together with glass elevation, HPL / ACP cladding, and glass railing so slab edge, gutter, and head-of-wall details are drawn once.
